UnitedHealthcare Announces Motion Upgrades

UHC Motion Dashboard

At last week’s International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), UnitedHealthcare and Qualcomm Incorporated announced significant upgrades to UnitedHealthcare Motion™, a wearable device wellness program that provides employees with activity trackers at no cost and enables them to earn up to $1,500 per year by meeting daily walking goals.

Following a successful pilot in 2016 which included a trial in Texas, the program has now expanded to 40 states and is offering access to additional customized activity trackers through a ‘bring-your-own-device’ (BYOD) model, including the Fitbit Charge 2.
