UnitedHealthcare recently appointed Dave Milich and Scott Flannery to roles leading its commercial business in Texas and Oklahoma.
Milich has been named Texas CEO, and Flannery was appointed CEO of North Texas and Oklahoma.
A 20-year veteran of the industry, Dave previously served as CEO of UnitedHealthcare’s South Texas health plan. Before that, he provided strategic oversight of business development and customer retention for commercial markets as regional vice president of sales and account management for the 15 states and 16 health plans in UnitedHealthcare’s central region.
Dave’s heavily involved in the Houston community, currently serving on boards of directors for the Greater Houston Partnership, Houston Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, American Diabetes Association of Houston and SpringSpirit.
Scott has been with the company since 1999. Notably, he held the same role of CEO of UnitedHealthcare’s commercial operations in North Texas and Oklahoma in 2011-2013. He’s returned to the position in April 2017 after spending more than three years as UnitedHealthcare’s central region growth officer and the sales national practice lead for UMR.
As a member of the North Texas community, Scott currently serves on the board of directors for the Collin County Business Alliance and is a member of the Junior League of Dallas Advisory Board.
