UnitedHealthcare and the Dallas Cowboys Host a One-Day Camp for Salvation Army Youth Education Town Students

UnitedHealthcare helped coordinate a one-day camp for children enrolled in the Salvation Army’s Youth Education Town, which provides kids the opportunity to try new activities, explore new talents and make lasting memories.

UnitedHealthcare teamed up with the Dallas Cowboys recently to host a fun-filled day at AT&T Stadium for more than 100 children, ages 5-12, who are involved with the Salvation Army’s North Texas Youth Education Town (YET) center.

YET provides educational, athletic and arts programs, in addition to other services, for North Texas families in need. Volunteers and staff help children improve their communication skills, increase graduation rates and inspire youth to reach their full potential.

Volunteers coached kids through football drills and plays.

UnitedHealthcare volunteers helped prepare and serve healthy snacks, such as berries, yogurt and pretzels.
