UnitedHealthcare’s Customer Service Center in Irving recently underwent a $5 million renovation.
It now features larger workstations with sit/stand desks for when employees need to stretch their legs. The building is also equipped with a fitness room, an outdoor picnic area and an employee recreation room to serve as a decompression space.
Currently, more than 350 employees work at the location, and there are plans of hiring 160 more advocates in 2017.
The Irving center handles calls from UnitedHealthcare’s Medicaid and Medicare Advantage members.
