UnitedHealthcare of Texas and the Dallas Cowboys Serve Thanksgiving Meals at the Salvation Army

UnitedHealthcare of Texas leaders and employee volunteers joined the Dallas Cowboys in serving early Thanksgiving lunch to 800 men and women at Salvation Army Centers in Dallas and Fort Worth Monday.

Dak Prescott, Ezekiel Elliott, Travis Frederick, Byron Jones and other Cowboys served food and gifted items to help prepare attendees for the cold winter months.

UnitedHealthcare and the Dallas Cowboys Host a One-Day Camp for Salvation Army Youth Education Town Students

UnitedHealthcare teamed up with the Dallas Cowboys recently to host a fun-filled day at AT&T Stadium for more than 100 children, ages 5-12, who are involved with the Salvation Army’s North Texas Youth Education Town (YET) center.

YET provides educational, athletic and arts programs, in addition to other services, for North Texas families in need. Volunteers and staff help children improve their communication skills, increase graduation rates and inspire youth to reach their full potential.

Volunteers coached kids through football drills and plays.
UnitedHealthcare volunteers helped prepare and serve healthy snacks, such as berries, yogurt and pretzels.

With support from UnitedHealthcare of Texas, the Dallas Cowboys served special early Thanksgiving meals at Dallas and Fort Worth Salvation Army locations on Monday, Nov. 13. Quarterback Dak Prescott (above) delivered food trays to more than 500 men and women.

Chris Abbott, CEO, UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement of Texas, served meals alongside tight end Jason Witten (above) at the Carr P. Collins Social Services Center in Dallas, and Jeff Maddox, CEO, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan of Texas volunteered at the Mabee Social Services Center in Fort Worth.
